Creatures Lab is Messed Up

   Creatures Labs is messed up so the breed and cob download links to Clabs won't work. (That's just stating the obvious. XD) I wonder if it will ever get fixed... Get more info on this at  Creatures Caves!

Long Time, No See!

 I was very busy before summer vacation started so I didn't have enough time to work on Melody's Creatures World or visit my favorite Creatures forum, Creatures Caves. Now that Summer is here I finally have enough time to work on Melody's Creatures World and to visit Creatures Caves.
 I know I haven't been updating my blog as much as I'd like to but I'd like fill you in on a few things to make up for it.
First of all I'm moving Melody's Creatures World to a new website, same server.
Why am I doing this you ask? Well, it  seemed that the content on the original Melody's Creatures World became messy and I thought it was a time for change of the layout so  I started the new Melody's Creatures World with a soft baby pink background that is easy on the eyes. Alas, I am still busy transferring the data over from the first Melody's Creatures World and over to the second MCW (Melody's Creatures World). At the moment, I am busy transferring the data from the C3/DS Breedlist to the 2nd MCW.
 Those of you who have used Angelfire before as a web host know that there is a basic and advanced html mode.
In the 1st MCW I used basic, now in the 2nd MCW I am using advanced to further my knowledge of HTML and to improve MCW.
 If anyone remembers, I was raising two norns in C1 named Cyril and Alex. Yes, I intend to get back to those two eventually, maybe after I finish transferring the C3/DS Breedlist data over to the 2nd CW.

Alex and Cyril

So far I've had no trouble getting Alex to eat, I'm mostly feeding her carrots. Right now she is 9 minutes old and still a baby. I think I'll hatch her a mate when she reaches the 20 minute mark.She hasn't left the Learning Machine area yet and is quite content with playing with the ball and eating the carrots I bring her.

Oh, there she goes, she left the Learning Machine while I was typing. She's in the kitchen right now, I think I'll teach her what a weed is when she ventures out into the Garden.

 She's in the Garden now, while I was trying to teach her what a weed was she ate some of the weed. Again, she ate it. I had to spank her a couple times.

She's almost 20 minutes old and I've hardly taught her anything, oh dear. I've been dawdling too much...

I've fed her some more carrots and lemons in the Garden and she seems to be exhausted... I wonder how you lower that drive?

Wait, she's not a child yet and she's 20 minutes old! I'll wait until she becomes a child.

and... there she goes!

 All grown up! Well... not really.

The moment she became a child she walked right out of the garden and into the Submarine Bay with a carrot at hand! adventurous, isn't she?

Let's hatch her a mate!

Hopefully, Alex doesn't have a Deathcap Mushroom buffet while I'm gone...

Anyway...

A Horse norn! I'll name him Cyril, according to BabyNames.com it means Lordly.

I led him to the Learning Machine to teach him all his verbs.

Let's check up on Alex to see what she's up to!

She seems to be eating the Gentian, good for her!

I tickled her and she looked at me, started tapping her foot, and gave me a huge grin!

Too bad I didn't have enough time to take a picture.

Anyway, back to Cyril!

He's still learning his verbs.

After he learned all his verbs I taught him to eat but he seems to be too amused with the ball to eat anything else!

I haven't played Creatures 1 since I had to uninstall and reinstall in for the second time, so I've decided to start it up again. No cobs and I'm not downloading any norns breeds, I'll have a vanilla world.

I have chosen a nice speckled egg from the Hatchery, I'm not telling you the gender though, it's a surprise!

Now let's pop this baby into the incubator and...

It's a female White Haired Pixie Norn! Rejoice! Aw, dang it. She blinked while I was taking this picture. Oh well. Anyway, White Haired Pixie norns are my favorite norn breed! Let's name her Alex, according to BabyNames.com it means Defender of the People.

I then proceeded to lead her to the Learning Machine (or what ever it's called) and I taught her all her verbs.

Alex learned her verbs quickly, it gets quite annoying when they push the button to go onto the next word without learning their current word though.

After that, I waved the Hand in front of her face and taught her it's name, Mom.

I taught her the names of close by objects such as the coffee pot (drink), the ball, (toy) and the honey jar. (food)

Anyway, I got to go! More tomorrow, bye!

Long time, no see!

So I haven't been updating for quite a while, so sometime this week, if I have enough time, I might update. I'm probably going to try to put up more adoptions, add to the cob lists, and website list. First things first... check out Discover Albia, it's a very interesting blog. Which reminds me.. if I ever do a wolfing run again, I won't download any cobs. Hmmm... maybe if I have another run it will be in DS? I don't know yet...
Well, I'm going to update the website! Good bye for now.

"sob" Feral run...

 We have some bad news, no more feral run, my game would start up so I had to uninstall it and then reinstall it for the 10th time! I've completed my organizing of the breeds list and I've set up the Cobs sections. I have also fixed up the creatures adoptions. I need to add MORE links to the link section and more adoptions.

Cally's Fate

Cally is dead.

But... Guru has been born, I don't know who his father and mother are, but I'm guessing his father is Scott and his mother is either Cally or Diana.

Lilac and Guru aren't saddened by Cally's death.

Fred sits down by the music player.

Scott has just gotten back from a submarine ride but he doesn't look too happy.

Update 3

Lilac cowers by the lift. Maybe she thinks that mushroom is  poisonous.

Fred sleeps in the submarine. I wonder if the submarine is really that comfortable to sleep in.

Pear pushes the call button.

Eddy,Cally,Fred, and Scott all stand be a herb and a weed.

The blue weed reminds me of Creatures Playstation, my first creatures game ever.

In Solitude

Update 2

Lilac eats sweet honey while Pear pushes the lift.

Fred pushes the call button on the Island of Solitude.

I've noticed that a lot of norns tend to push the call button when the lift is already up.

Eddy's in the tree house.

I hope he doesn't get too hungry up there.

Diana stands around the hootch still.

Surprisingly, the hootch cans are still full. XD

NEW Feral Run

Update 1

My Creatures 1 game messed up, it kept crashing and it the background was blue and object were floating so scoota94 helped me sort it out. (Thanks scoota94) I had to uninstall everything though, so now we are starting a new run.
